Our story: from an app to a relocation partner
relocraft was founded in 2023 with a clear idea: an app that lets anyone relocate to Germany on their own. The app exists – and it works. Just differently than planned: its heaviest users are not private individuals but professionals who manage immigration, home-finding and onboarding for many cases at once – more than 100 relocations running in parallel are everyday business in the relocraft Cockpit today. So we rebuilt the business model around B2B and added what employers and recruiters actually need.
Our roots go back much further: relocraft grew out of a relocation agency whose experience with German authorities, entry procedures and settling-in dates back to 1998. That certainty shapes us to this day – bureaucratic hurdles don't disappear overnight, but private-sector initiative and digitalisation make them plannable. In short: German bureaucracy can be complicated – bureaucracy is what we do.
What we are today
Two things. First, a classic relocation agency with high digital intensity: visa, authorities, recognition and arrival from one partner, nationwide, at fixed prices. Second, housing specialists: because arriving starts with a home, we create housing ourselves – ready-to-move-in, registration-ready shared flats for 2 to 50 professionals per location, available from the day of entry.
The strongest demand comes from healthcare, and our second focus is professional drivers, where we have modularised the entire process from entry to licence to first shift. Employers recruiting internationally for the first time are matched with vetted recruiters from our network – the talent is out there, just somewhere else. Behind all of this: four permanent and around 120 freelance team members, working nationwide from the Baltic coast with offices in Greifswald, Hamburg and Berlin.
What we stand for
Honest timelines instead of promises, transparent prices instead of package tricks, and one ambition: every professional should not just enter Germany, but truly arrive. As a member of the German Federal Association for International Talent Acquisition (BVIFG) we commit to ethical standards – fair recruitment is a condition, not an option.
